In the 2015 MLB regular season, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, sometimes just referred to as the Angels, placed 3rd in the West Division of the American League. They had the 6th best PCT (.525) in the American League, with 85 wins and 77 losses. The Angels had the 12th best PCT in the entire MLB—the National League and American League combined.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim franchise was first owned by Gene Autry in 1961. Autry is also known as “The Singing Cowboy” since he starred in a film of the same name in 1936. Like many MLB franchises, the Angels’ names changed several times, though in the case of this team, they’ve kept the “Angels” part of the moniker. The Los Angeles Angels, the California Angels, and the Anaheim Angels have all, in their time, described the franchise.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim’s home ballpark is Angel Stadium of Anaheim, where they’ve played since 1966. The stadium is now surrounded by shopping and eateries, though what is perhaps its most notable neighbor is a little place called Disneyland. The close proximity of Disneyland to Angel Stadium of Anaheim makes it easy to enjoy a home game while on a trip to see Disneyland.

If you’re planning to visit Disneyland, why not also catch a game? Baseball games are fun for families, friends, and colleagues.
