During the 2015 MLB season, the Cleveland Indians won 81 baseball games and lost 80, despite having a rough start to the season. They won their last game of the season, which was against the Boston Red Sox, with a score of 3 to 1. They placed third in the American League Central Division, a repeat of their final position at the end of the 2014 season. In 2015, Jason Kipnis and Carlos Santana had a combined 158 runs; both players return for 2016.

Back in 1865, the Cleveland Indians were known as the Forest Citys. They kept this name until 1882, when they changed to the Cleveland Blues. In 1887 they became known as the Cleveland Spiders, and in 1890, their name changed again—this time to the Cleveland Infants. They’ve been the Grand Rapids Rustlers, the Cleveland Lake Shores, the Cleveland Bluebirds, the Cleveland Broncos, and the Cleveland Naps. They didn’t become the Cleveland Indians until 1915. They’ve won two World Series, five pennants, and seven Central Division titles.

Progressive Field is the home stadium of the Cleveland Indians. It’s located right in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, and was originally named Jacobs Field (1994-2008). The ballpark is surrounded by restaurants, lodgings, and entertainment venues such as the House of Blues Cleveland. In 2008, Sports Illustrated named Progressive Field the Best MLB Stadium.
