The Chicago White Sox were originally called the Sioux City Cornhuskers, until 1894, when their name changed to the St. Paul Saints. 1900 brought another name change—they became the White Stockings. It wasn’t until 1906 that they were first known as the Chicago White Sox—and they won the World Series that year. Since then, they’ve won the World Series two other times (1917 and 2005). They’ve also won six pennants and five division titles.

The Chicago White Sox play at US Cellular Field—and have since 1991. This is their fourth ballpark, and it’s located just south of Armour Square Park in Chicago, IL. Only a couple of blocks away from the Illinois Institute of Technology, US Cellular Field is surrounded by a number of lodgings and restaurants. The park is easily accessible by car and public transportation. US Cellular Field is also home to nine sculptures of figures important to the history of the team.
